Between "Dancing With the Stars" and his regular duties on MTV, there's a bit of a Situation surplus on the tube these days. So we're  quite pleased he won't be making that once suggested cameo on "Bones" Oct. 7 homage to "Jersey Shore."

(With guest Antonio Sabato Jr. and several dozen over-tanned extras in the mix, it's not like the episode will suffer from any shortage of abs or bad acting.)

And while the hilarity of recreating the east coast on a Malibu set is awfully enticing, the real fun to be had here is in Brennan (Emily Deschanel), at her super squinty anthropologist-iest, stretching this 'Jersey Shore as a documentary about guido tribes' shtick out for an entire hour.

We've got a first look at the genesis of her delusion, when she explains to the all-knowing Angela (Michaela Conlin) about how she's accidentally been watching MTV:

Este último de Brennan y Angela tengo que decir que me ha encantado... Más mona Brennan, toda antropológica ella... Me parto con lo de los "friends o Bro's" y con su "casi homoerótico"... Y las caras de Angela, de lo mejor...
